Information on registration procedures - Registration at the GCEG 2018

Registration will be located in the foyer of Building 1: Philosophikum (please see floor plans) and is open:

-    Tuesday, 24 July – 12:00 – 19:20
-    Wednesday, 25 July – 8:00 – 16:00
-    Thursday, 26 July – 8:00 – 16:00
-    Friday, 27 July – 8:00 – 11:00

Peak hours are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday (morning). Therefore, we kindly ask everybody to take waiting time into account when planning their visit and scheduling their arrival. Further, we would like to recommend everyone presenting on Tuesday to make use of the check-in start as early as possible and colleagues presenting on Wednesday morning to either register ahead of the day on Tuesday or to allow sufficient waiting time. If you have any difficulty in adhering to the registration times, please contact the information desk.

The registration process

1.    There will be several registration booths sorted alphabetically by last names.
2.    Please bring your ID card and have it available at the booth.
3.    The GCEG staff will check your registration and payment status.
4.    You will receive the following items (in your conference bag):

Conference badge, including:
-    nametag
-    wifi access
-    vouchers for lunch and water bottles
-    ticket for local public transportation
-    tickets for Ice-Breaker-Party, if booked

Conference bag, including:
-    programme book
-    city map
-    further materials

Important: The conference badge is your ticket for the GCEG 2018 and will grant you access to all the conference locations, presentation rooms, and catering offers included. Lost badges and lost local transport tickets unfortunately cannot be replaced.
