Global Community Empowerment Group supports the notion that learning and inspiration can be gained from the domestic as well as the international community. Therefore, GCEG hosted its first “World Chat on Urban Renewal” on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, initiating a global conversation. The goal was to inspire and empower community leaders, municipal representatives, neighborhood organizations, urban planners, foundations, non-profits, NGOs and any others with a focus on urban development and renewal.
